New York City Pride 2012

Welcome back, survivors of New York City Pride 2012! Are we all still recovering from this past week's activities or are we ready for a recap? Get your coconut water and ibuprofen out, you may need the extra boost. I will say that this year's pride events were a bit tame compared to the last few years. Is it because everyone's starting to couple up and stay in during the times in which they should be partying or was New York City simply not living up to its full potential? From my we stood, my friends and I definitely felt like we could have used a few more parties and a little less of the usual bar crawl. That's just us, though - what did y'all think?

We'd like to hear from both the locals and tourists so comment below to tell us what you thought of NYC Pride 2012!

Folsom Street East 2012

WARNING: Content Not Safe For Work (NSFW)

New York City's 16th annual Folsom Street East took place this past Sunday, the 17th of June 2012 on West 28th Street in Manhattan between 10th and 11th Avenues. The crowd this year was by far the most eclectic group of people, both veterans and newcomers, with whom I had the privilege to work and meet. Will Clark and Xavier Rice emceed the festival with special stage performances by The Glamazons, Dallas DuBois, Brett Gleason, and many others!

Paige Turner's "Fuck Me Thursday!"

New York City's Paige Turner makes her music video debut with "Fuck Me Thursday!", a parody of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." The video directed and shot by Jason Lee Courson, with parody lyrics by Paige Turner, was shot in Manhattan, New York City, special thanks to Stonewall Inn for allowing us to film in their bar! Enjoy the video and the behind the scenes content after the jump!

Ricky Schroeder

The fabulous Ricky Schroeder is participating in this year's Strip-a-thon for Broadway Bares XXII: Happy Endings. Although he has already raised well above his goal of $2000 for the organization, it wouldn't hurt to completely smash that goal and raise another $1000 for the year! You can find his personal donation page here. We have until Friday, the 15th of June to donate so get to it, folks!

Matt's Weekend in NYC

Hey, folks, it's been awhile. Let's recap what went down this last month, shall we? If y'all can recall I took a trip to Baltimore to visit my best friend, Duncan, and also managed to meet a very sweet and lovely young man by the name of Matt. Matt decided he'd come up to New York City to visit me last month and was here from the 10th to the 13th of May and we had a gay old time!
